This unique trio combines the forces of three driven seekers from various continents: New York trombonist Steve Swell, Israeli drummer Ziv Ravitz and last but not least, our own Joachim Badenhorst on clarinet. Although we know the ever-amazing Steve Swell from more than a hundred previous endeavors, I can't say that I know much about Mr. Ravitz. No matter, since all three members of this trio are integral to the strong group sound. From slow and cerebral to even more spacious and mysterious, this trio completely focused and fascinating.
